You send me to the desert to die
there, the coyotes chase me
I drop my books and cry
as I run to the shade of the cactus

In the desert, the scorpions bite me
they offer me an apple; I eat hardy
I fear the coyotes are waiting for me ahead
while the scorpions have a pity party
